Can I get a print in a size that's not listed?
I can definitely print a custom size for you. There’s a limit to how big I can go, depending on the size of the original piece and what resolution it was scanned at; listings for each print will give the biggest size I can print of that image. Please contact me if you are interested!
Can you adjust the white borders for me?
Sure! My standard prints all come with a white border. That border is usually 1" wide, but in some cases varies a little so that I can fit an image on a set paper size without cropping it. If you'd rather have a consistent width, or if you want a thicker or thinner border, or part of the border trimmed to make a specific paper size, let me know in the special instructions field at checkout! I can also remove the entire border if you wish, but be aware that for most images this means I won't be able to sign your print.
Do you make prints on different materials, like wood or canvas?
At the moment I only offer prints on paper, but if you're interested in a different material please contact me and I'll see what I can do!
Do you make custom prints?
There are two types of custom prints that I am asked for.
The first type involves customization to the physical print: printing a different size, adjusting the border, printing on different materials, etc. This type of customization is usually possible, so please get in touch if you are interested!
The other type involves customization to the image: removing or editing elements of a design, changing colors, creating an entirely new design, etc. I don't do this type of customization on prints. If you want a custom design, or something similar to an existing design but with specific changes, you can commission an original piece. More info about commissioning art can be found here.
How do you make your prints?
Prints are made by scanning or photographing my original drawings and paintings, and printing the images with an inkjet printer. I use a professional-grade Epson printer with pigmented inks and acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper. All materials used in the printing process are archival, resulting in gallery-quality prints that will last over 100 years with proper care.
Orders + Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
I’ll ship anywhere in the world! Shipping prices to your country will be displayed at checkout. Please be aware that there may be duties or import taxes depending on your country, which you as the buyer are responsible for.
When will my order ship?
For originals, stickers, and in-stock prints, orders ship in 1-2 business days. Prints that I don’t have in stock are made to order, and will be ready to ship within one week. If your order includes both in-stock and out-of-stock items, I'll ship everything together when all items are ready. If you'd prefer I ship items separately as they are available, please let me know in the special instructions field at checkout.
Can I make a return?
If you are unhappy with your purchase or if you change your mind, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your item for a refund or exchange. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.
My order arrived damaged, what should I do?
I do my best to package everything with care, and it is very rare that an order arrives damaged. I'm really sorry if it happens to you! Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order with photos of the damage and I will provide a refund or replacement.
Where's the tracking info for my stickers?
I mail my stickers in a stamped envelope, which unfortunately means there’s no tracking on them. If it's been awhile since you ordered stickers and they haven't arrived yet, please get in touch!
Framing + Display
How should I display my original art?
My wood-mounted originals usually come with a custom frame, and have been varnished to allow display without glass. These pieces are ready to hang, no framing or additional hardware required!
Originals on paper often come with a mat and backing, which I'll always cut to fit in standard frame sizes. These pieces can be placed in a pre-made frame.
For originals on paper that don't come with a mat, I recommend taking your art to your local frame shop for a custom frame. They will use the best methods and materials to ensure the longevity of your art. If you do decide to frame it yourself, I highly recommended using a mat, which will allow for air flow between the paper and the glass. Use acid-free materials (matboard, tape, and backing) to prevent damage to your art.
I recommend using UV-blocking glass in your frame, and/or keeping your piece out of direct sunlight.
How should I display my prints?
To best ensure the longevity of your prints, follow the instructions for framing an original work on paper above.
If you place your print in a mat (recommended), look for one or cut one that fits the image size. If you decided to frame without a mat, look for a frame that fits the paper size. Both the image size and paper size for every size option will be given in the print listing.
What style of frame do you recommend?
I believe less is more when it comes to framing. A clean, modern frame in white, black, or natural wood with a single white mat will look great with most all of my images.
Can you mat and/or frame it for me?
I’m working on making this a standard option available in my online shop, in the meantime feel free to get in touch if you’d like to purchase something matted and/or framed!
